We know that many of guests will have to travel quite a distance to celebrate with us, and we've arranged special rates at some hotels in the area.  Most hotels are within a 30 minute drive of Shawville, Quebec (where our wedding will take place).

We encourage you to come and stay in the Ottawa Valley for the weekend to enjoy the beautiful fall scenery.

The Chateau Cartier
Located on the Ottawa River just outside Hull, Quebec, the Chateau Cartier is just minutes from downtown Ottawa and  is at the gateway to Gatineau Park.  We have booked rooms at a group rate under the name 'Carbonneau'.  

A shuttle will be available for a limited number of guests.  The shuttle will depart the hotel for the ceremony, take guests from the ceremony to the reception, and then take two trips back to the hotel later in the evening (one around 11:30pm and another at the end of the reception around 1am).
